If sold we no longer control what happens to this land – houses, truck stops, warehouses, semi-truck parking??? The taxpayers bought this land to keep it Open Space and save our community from the negative effects of development.

86 acres in Unincorporated Homer Township, could be annexed into Lockport. Annexation into Lockport would have to happen if they want sewer & water run to the site.

The northeast corner of Bruce Rd. and Gougar Rd. in Lockport No Parking available at this site. The Purdy Farm is the large parcel of land you see looking toward I-355 to the East. Homer Township has not announced plans for this parcel however the Township Supervisor at one time was working out a plan with a private developer for the Purdy Farm but has not disclosed any details to the public.
